I knew something like this would happen. We've switched hosts a few times now because has had something different wrong with them. Up until now these guys have been perfect, but theres always something [mad]
Hmm yeah intereseting answer Damber - I think the 2nd option could be a real possibility. That would solve all our problems I think.
Thanks
Ill let you know how it goes, if youre interested that is.
Hi
Thanks for answering. The host said they wont set up reverse DNS as I am on VPS hosting. They will only do it for full dedicated.
So, I guess im stuck.
I take it there is no other alternative?
Dan
No i meant can you do it without using include code? So a user can upload a page without any extra code in and the banner appears instantly, without modifying the code.
I think perhaps I posted in the wrong category as its probably not possible to do this with ASP.
:-/
Hi
Not sure if this is posted in the right category but I wouldnt even know where it should be posted.
I just want to know if there is any way a page can have a header inserted automatically? For example if a user uploads a page I want that page to have a banner at the top without manually...
Hi
Im really stuck here..
I use VPS hosting and have a register page that sends the user an email so they can click an activation link. The email sends fine but it goes into spam folders on hotmail, aol, yahoo etc.
Im pretty sure this is because the reverse DNS shows a different domain (the...

Anyway I was just wondering something about dmoz. I submitted my site and within 2 weeks it was listed in the category. Then a couple of weeks later an editor revisited the site with the referrer...
No problem
Unfortunately i cant really say anything more than what Chris has already said. They must have performed a recent update to their algorithm which has had dramatic results for your site.
I would suggest more content also.
Dan
Thanks for the info guys.
One other thing, whats the best way to test if your site is in this 'sandbox'? I have tried searching in google for keywords that in yahoo and msn i rank #1 for. In google i do not appear in the first 500 results. Is this proof that I am stuck in the sandbox?
Hi
I just read an article referring to google's so called 'Aging Delay' where all new sites are held back from scoring highly in google's search results for a period of upto 12 months. My site is scoring top positions in yahoo and msn for certain keywords but doesnt even appear in google...
Well I have tested it a bit with and without the proxy and it does seem to be the problem. Why? I dont know but when i disable it the error goes away.
P.S. How long do members stay 'New' here?
It does only happen when there are about 25/30 boxes checked. However it will work ok occasionally even on those machines. 9 times out of 10 it comes up with the error though.
One difference i can see between my machine and theirs is they run their internet through a proxy. Would that affect it?
