Ok, I forgot one detail. The server is a domain controller. I have many domain controllers and I do not want to put this user into the admin group since it will make him an admin on all my controllers and he will have access into the OU structure.
XP has a group for users that need to change...
There seems to be many individual rights you can assign to a person to administer a Windows 2000 Server.
I cannot find a right to assign to someone to allow them to change the TCP/IP configuration of a server without them having full administrator privlidges.
Anyone know if this individiual...
I am experiencing slow web surfing at work and I believe its due to slow DNS lookups on our AD DNS servers.
Is there a tool out there that can tell me my DNS query response time in milliseconds on my internal LAN?

Thanks, yea, I read that article. I was in a rush to implement this PIX and since I got noreplies to the question I waited a day and did some testing first. Netbios filesharing works through the PIX with PAT if only one host is doing it at a time. Two hosts and it all buggers up so NAT was the...

I am trying to set a Sheduled job timeout in Backup Exec 8.6 so if no media is found after one hour, the scheduled job will abort.
Arcserve has this feature but I can't find it in BE 8.6.
Anyone have any insight?
Thanks in advance.
