I have a bunch of word Files in the folder:
"C:\Documents and Settings\user1\My Documents\Project"
I have named each excel file with the "project name as the prefix". Say the project was "Finland". Then I'd have files
Finland-Jan Report.doc
Finland-Project Mid Report.doc...
okie ... Public didn't work ....

Now got 2 problems:
1) making global
2) removing that funny symbol.

I use Me.Requery to refresh a form's data. But every time I click the refresh button, it jumps to the first record.
I could store the "primary key" before Me.Requery and do a Me.Filter by the "primary key".
But I was wondering if the jumping to first record was by design or something...
In addition,
The links in the query work fine. For instance, I added one table at a time and check it. It works until the moment all 5 are connected together.
No matter which table of the 5 I add last, the completed query fails.

I have a database polling info from an ODBC connect. The ODBC tables open fine when I double-click on it.
However, when I try to run a qry from it, it fails. This same query was working fine for a long time. By the way, this query is set-up by linking 4 ODBC tables.

But when I modify data from the form, it does not get updated on the table. I have tried clicking on the write button (the left bar) before logging out.

Actually, I was looking for it in the chart window. I do not have a cross-tab query.
Anyway, if you right click on the columns you want, there is a "field settings". If you go there, there's a check box for displaying all values. But you did give me with some direction. Thank you...

if it helps clarify:
I think the problem is in the associated pivot table. It ignores January values when the x-axis fields (i.e. horizontally across in the the table) is Zero.
But I have a similar pivot table that desptie all the values being 0, still shows the January.
