Hi All,
I am using Crystal 10, and experiencing difficulties in being able to utilise the full A4 landscaped page in my report.
I have a main report with multiple report footers - each containing a single chart and printing one to a page. The chart is located in the subreport's footer and all...
Hi Sheila,
Please refer to this other thread, which may resolve your problem.

I have found it best to do all the concatenation in one formula and end the line with a Chrw(10) for a Line feed.(The particular program I was using to import into required this). You then place this field on the report. I had tried placing several formulae into a text box on the report, but the...
Hi BigDarrin,
Have you been able to still export your text file correctly? For some time, even with the formula in place, I have been unable to export to text correctly. This appears to have coincided with a Crystal update I had installed. If you have also been affected you will be please to...
No worries.
Just insert the two images eg image1(checked) and image2(unchecked) into the appropriate section of your report. Go to the Format Graphic option of the right-click menu. Under the Suppress X+2 formula for image1(checked)enter something similar to LB's formula eg:
if...
Another alternative to using different sections as suggested by MJRBIM and if you want to use images instead of Wingdings as LB suggests,is to have the images entered on the same section and just conditionally suppress whichever one you don't want to see, based on the field you want. Just align...
Hi,
I am using Crystal Reports V10 with ODBC connection to a database and I am struggling to resolve a problem I have with a payroll report. I have two tables linked, one with payroll header information and the other with payroll detail. Ordinary hours value and Tax are held in the header file...
Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to get Crystal Reports (using v10) to interrogate the native format squid access.log for preparation of access reports. Just curious - had a bit of a play, but no success.

BigDarrin,
I believe I have resolved the issue. I had contacted Business Solutions support to pursue the issue, but also kept trying on my own. Although support was very prompt, I managed to work out that the export does not like to perform correctly from a Text object placed on the report. If...
Thanks for the response MrBill - the issue I had originally is that I just want a plain text file as a result, not a Rich text. As it currently stands, I need to export to the Rich Text, open in Word as Rich text and save as plain text (after some editing out of page breaks). Be great to cut out...
Sorry Darrin - had no luck with the post and I am still using the method of exporting as a Rich text format file. Can anyone else help?

Yes - I too have encountered this problem in CR 10. I have to export to Word first and then save as text (deleting the page Breaks inserted). As you say ganjass, "Surely CR V10 should not suffer from an issue like this.."
synapsevampire - this is exactly what is happening, unless...
Hi,
I am having trouble with Crystal V10 exporting a subreport to text, while maintaining all trailing spaces. The resulting text file is used for importing to another program and must have the exact line composition or the import fails. Some lines have x number of spaces following the last data...
