How do you remove a server from the system manager after physically removing it.
I should have choose to remove the server option in Exchange system manager first before taking it physically offline and ow the icon is stuck in EX sys manger.. any ideas how to remove it?

sender Policy framework records are a step further than PTR records because the specify authorized mail servers that accept inbound mail for a domain. This would be the front end server in an FE/BE...
if you look at your access tab of your smtp virt server properties, that is were relay restritions are made(by default on computers who can succesfully authenticate can use you as a relay), not by virtue of the * on the connector saying you can send or receive from any domain.
