I juste restart the licence console service and Citrix licence service. Same issue.
Problem is these servers are in "production". I cannot reboot them during open times.
In fact I removed the .lic linked with these temporary licenses. Now in my licenses console, everything clear (temporary licenses disappear).
But users have still the popup message!! It seems licenses are still there (in registry I think).
An idea?
So I am running Presentation Server 3.0 with permanent licenses and temporary licenses.
Our temporary licenses will expire in 7 days (not a problem), and now a popup appears every time a user log on citrix telling him that the Citrix licenses will expire in x days!
I don't want users to see...
So I activated the speed screen latency for whole server using the Citrix console.
For PS3, the file template.ica had to be modified.
But now there is no more template.ica on PS4.
So how to set the Speedscreen latency on PS4??
Thanks.
Thank you Tony.
I (once again) reinstall Win2K3 server with Citrix but with no hotfix and it works.
Si I will now apply the hotfixes and give here my results.
I am running Presentation Server 4.0 with web interface. 2003 server.
Each time I try to identify on my client web server page, this message appears (sorry but it is a translation from french): "the authentification was impossible. Either your id were incorrect, either there is a problem with...
I don't think so because we have clients on foreign sites and using a cache on clients means would mean:
Citrix server- foreign client- Citrix server
Which would be a bad solution concerning the speed.
So I would like the cache to be on the Citrix server (on its second drive).
I am using Presentation Server 3.0 with web interface.
So I modified the appsrv.ini (on my client), writing
"persistentcacheenabled=On" and
"Persistentcachepath=myserverseconddrive\citrix\cache"
On my configuration, myserverseconddrive is I:

I am running Citrix 3.0 with web interface enterprise. 2003 server.
I discovered that compression and cache is not by default on Citrix, at least for web client.
By the way, how can I force it? I modified the appsrv.ini file (on my test client):
maximumcompression=On

I would like to install the PN Agent for my users. But I don't want them to be able to change the properties of the PN agent, like the Citrix server.
Is there a solution to prevent them form modifying these properties? (I didn't find anything in the appsrv.ini).
thanks.
Is there a web page which permit to see the users connected as it existed under metaframe XP FR3? (web page admin)
In fact I would just like one of our client to see the persons connected, but with no administration privileges, using a web page.

Ok so I installed the SSL certificate and I forced
the SSL use (so only access by https). The SSL port is by default (443).
I installed the smart card software on the server.
I set the web interface with authentication with Smart Card.
And now, each time I try to launch citrix (by the web...
Here is a question from one of "my" users. Running in web interface. Do you have any idea?
"How can I switch applications within a Citrix window, because ALT+Tab does not work (this switches between the Citrix windows and other local applications)?
Especially for switching between SAP sessions...
Ok I forgot something: for smart card, I have to install a SSL certificate.
In fact the problem occured each time the web interface went through a HTTPS page ("page cannot be displayed").
I will install a SSL certificate and will inform you.
Was too optimist.
When I made this modification, it worked once, on the authetincation web page. I just clic on login and "the page cannot be displayed".
Now when I retry, I have everytime "the page cannot be displayed", even on the first authentication page.
So that's curious: it seems each...
