We have users that are not able to send mail to certain hosts using out exchange 5.5 server from the company. For example: prodigy.net. It said host unreachable. They were able to send mail to prodiy.net using hotmail.com or yahoo.com.
Any help would be appreciated.
I was able to ping the client but it failed on rpcinfo -p hostname.
"rpcinfo: can't contact lgtomapper: Remote system error - connection refused"
"rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: Remote system erroor - connection refused"
I had added client/server in both hosts files...
Has anyone ran into this problem? All of the sudden, our exhange 5.5 server added additional email address to user account with the same domainname + 1.
Original: xxxx@yyy.com
additional: xxxx@yyy1.com
When I do a manual backup from a client it works fine.
When I schedule a backup from the server it fails to backup the same client.
Below is log error messages.
