Fraction Bars When Printing from FM 8 to PDF
Are you using the distiller that came with the FM version or a standalone Adobe Acrobat install? That issue sounds like a font problem where the necessary font is either not being embedded in the PDF or is being substituted.- anotherflink

Page numbering
Select the frame that is disconnected, then select the preceding text frame. You don't need to have the two frames selected at the same time. Then, choose format>customize layout>connect text frames. That will connect the disconnected page.- anotherflink
