Is there a way to determine if a message you sent has been opened or viewed by the receipient without the read receipt(that the receipient has the option to send or not). Some users are saying that they just recived it when they had acutally received the message several hours before.

We have three servers on in each location, cannot find the tech that set it up, Is there an easy way to determine if the servers at the remote sites are PDC's or BDC's?
We are experiencing a problem with one of our locations, some machines can log on and others are getting account restriction errors. Upon checking this I looked at the event log and found several errors related to DNS such as event 4000. I tried to add a user into the active directory and...
We want to allow a certain group of users to create and name folders appropriately on the server but not have access to delete, I set the security permissions as I thought would work (using the advanced button) but when I remove the right to delete it also takes away their right to rename the...
The server works fine to log into and run the necessary applications (this is in application mode), however when logging off it hangs up at the logging off screen, we have to kill it with the terminal server manager. This happens with all users including administrator, this also happen if I try...

By default domain users do not have rights or have limited rights to the local pc(workstation). With programs such as quickbooks you need to have some rights to the local pc. Is there a group to assign them to or a group policy to accomplish this. Right now we go to each machine and add them in...

I have a server with 2 hard drives in a raid 1 configuration (windows raid). Is there a way of testing this. I was thinking of disconecting the main drive and trying to boot from the mirror. Should this work and what will need to be done once the test is performed.

I have a customer that is using terminal server 2003, they have a poorly written application that if a user opens it up more than once it brings the server down to a crawl and no one is able to use it. The server has plenty of power dual xeon 2.8 with 6gb RAM for 20 users. Is there a way to...
I have an appliation that requires the resolution to be 1024 X 768, but the customer does not want to use that for other apps, they insist on keeping the desktop at 800X600. Is there a way to have the resolution automatically adjust when this app is run, or is there a product that can do this.

We have a server that crashed and we were able to perform a system repair and it was OK, (this was after a drive on the RAID5 Array failed). I could not log in via terminal services so I looked at the licensing and the server showed not to be activated. I reactivated the server and installed the...
I have a SBS 2k3 sever (standard) and is configured using basic firewall NAT (RRAS) it works fine with the exception that it does not allow us to upload our files to the home office FTP server. It allows us to log on to the server but it hangs up when trying to upload the file.
Any Ideas?
