Does anyone have some input/advice/experience concerning antivirus solutions for Terminal Server?

here is a good site for looking up error codes:

Sorry to leave you guys hanging for so long. Haven't been on the boards for quite a while. The posts on this thread are pretty old, but I will go ahead and reply so that it's out there - cause Lucent's documentation is terrible (at least on these switches).
WARNING: this restores the switch...
I've done that a couple of times, including when I went ahead and put the RAS outside the firewall. I must be missing something in the fine print somewhere.

I've inherited a client with a broke VPN. The RAS is sitting inside a Linksys firewall/router. The 'basic' configuration of the RAS looks alright. I configured the router for port forwarding.
I can't remember the error code (751?), but I'm getting a 'server not responding' type of error...
The following is an error that we keep seeing on some of our P550s:
Log entry 179 by event 2 at 04-Jul-08 15:31:13 : Informative(20)Description: Undefined Error -- FILE: aftmgr.cpp LINE: 1113 Value 0xb0a : AFT: Multicast SA:090520884040, received on Port 2.2
Doesn't appear until the tested...
We did some 'sniffing' and found some strange broadcasts on our network. We tracked them down to some workstations that were broadcasting and found a couple of viruses.
The two we found are located at:
http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=WORM_RANDEX.G
and...
Good news, we're about 75% certain that we have found the cause, at least on our network. New version of an old virus:

Just today, Mcafee elevated it from Low to Medium risk.
We have a corporate virus scan on...
I ran into this last year and posted with not much response. The problem just seemed to stop.
We have run into this problem again, TODAY. All 450 + accounts have been getting locked out every 15 to 20 minutes after unlocking. As the day has drawn to a close, and workstations are being shut...
Okay, has anyone run into this?
This is happening again. No problems that I know of, but ALL accounts in one of our two domains are 'locking'. We have over 450 users, and every single one of them is being locked out. After unlocking the account, probably within 15 to 20 minutes, the account...
Microsoft documentation has let me down, again.
I have successfully imported user accounts to a new server using the csvde utility, with some help from the knowledge base. However, I need to import some computer accounts as well.
I cannot find any documentation as to what fields are necessary...
Here is AllegroSurf from RhinoSoft. I have been looking around for a proxy solution for a small biz customer and came across this. Haven't purchased/used yet, so I can't tell you how good it works, but the pricing is very reasonable. They have free 30 day trial that can be downloaded...
I actually work with the fellow who posted this message. We have gotten the correct console cable, and have 'reset' the passwords. HOWEVER, does anynone know how to reset the entire switch back to factory defaults? This switch is configured to the high heavens, and instead of going through...
This is a pretty old post, but in case you haven't found anything...I've been working with the P550 for a while and have yet to find the CLI command to search for MAC addresses (or some variant). You CAN look up a MAC address via the Web Interface - under the menu of L2 Switching -> Address...
GC = Global Catalog, right?
The answer is no, the machine that failed is a DC, but not GC. Actually, the machine that failed is NT. 'If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving isn't for you.'
Maybe some else has seen this.
2000/NT mixed domain.
Came in this morning, logged on to our domain, everything running fine. Did have trouble with a DC going out a couple of hours later. Turned out to be a hardware issue, and there are 3 other DCs in the domain, other than some apps not...
I have the same board, and had the same issue for a few weeks. I replaced the battery, and everytime I shut the system down, the bios would fall back to defaults. I wish I could tell you what changed, about the only other thing I did was to work on the little metal clamp that holds the battery...
Haven't been on the boards for a while, but after reading this post, I now know I'm not crazy. Same board, 2 sticks 133, 98 FE and 40 gig WD HDD and had the same trouble as everyone here. I first swapped video cards, worked well for a while, but still got some lock ups. Finally, stuck in 1...
We have some new machines around here that were doing the same thing. There are various 'wake-up events' set in the bios that can be enabled/disabled. Again, if in the corporate place, need to check with IT guys to make the changes. 'If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving isn't for you.'
