When I submit a report from my desktop to the CMC and it has a subreport do I have to also save up to the CMC the two SRs as well? Or were they apart of the report object?
I get this error :
Unable to retrieve Object.
The request could not be submitted for background processing.
This is for use within epicor so I don't know what the products are that come as part of "Vantage-Epicor"
Honestly it sounds very insecure. Usually followed with the line "Just give everyone dbo rights and your good to go."
I wonder if Crystal Reports passes SOX?

Why would you go to that granularity? The db doesn't pick up the groups from AD or is there another feature in 2005 that I missed?
I want to map security in the db properly. I'd rather do that on a job work area like HR, AR, AP, Production Floor then a few hundred users.

I have a vendor from an epicor reseller that is demanding I put in log-ins with dbo access to my SQL Server for all my users of their product.
Sorry but that isn't going to happen!
The reports are created and have a connection string defined for the dataConnection. Well at least it is...
For some reason the bound consept of the Flexgrid is not loading data into the grid. I guess I am missing some simple point?

I have been asked to add a second form to an existing simple exe. That form will be loaded from backend rs that I make.
Should I pass the rs to the form, or should the form load receive a param to do it's own query instead?
How do I force the new form to show if there is data returned to the...
I'm a contractor and I can't get my workstation to connect to the dev server. Neither can the people who work here so what else is new. :)

What do you mean by add your sum to the group footer?
I did a =sum(CntSessions) where sessions are an int that are summed in the query for the report.
When I look at the report, I see the last value in the details displayed in the control instead of the sum of all of them.
This seems much...
Have an old system that could set focus depending on data. Suddenly new Dells came in house and it no longer works? We also have semi new XP boxes with same IE and they work.
This is header of page:
<!-- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BEGIN BODY OF HTML FORM ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -->
<body bgcolor="#ffffff"...
I have seen different answers # or row vs. # of columns.
If this is for tthe # of rows, why not consider a parameterized view for your data source?
Now you are only a refresh() away from presenting the data you want.

Lets keep this simple.
When you do try this are you on your machine or the end users?
Are you running the source coed version for testing against the compiled EXE that the user is?
