Quailty of the Phaser 850 for photos?

Tell Xerox that the color blue turns magenta a week after the print is made. Complain that the ink/system is defective. I did, on the advice of a tech, and they replaced the unit, no charge, with an 850. The two inks are different. Good luck. Allen

    Cheap Ink Sticks???

DO NOT USE BRAND X INKS. It cost me a new printer to find this out. The warantee means NOTHING. They will replace your ink, but not your printer, They are waranteeing the INK not the PRINTER. Buy genuine ink on ebay for the least expensive source. Buy ONLY if it is in sealed XEROX tubs. Good luck

It seems that the lift pins become worn beyond use at about 60,000 copies. I had to have a tech in from Xerox $395.00 to clear paper stuck to the drum. He said that the lift pins are worn by defective guide rails in the unit. The guide rails gind a little material off of the pins each time you...

    Light Stripes

If you have been using NON Xerox inks, then you may have a print head problem. If you HAVE been using Xerox inks, and your unit is under warantee, then call Xerox. Good Luck
