HI:
The Error message guide of NetWorker show that problem is data block size, with a example on SOLARIS to fix it.
How I fix this on LINUX REDHAT 3 ES????
Thank's.
Guru's
I recently conducted the following tests:
From NW Server start a DIRECTER RECOVER to retrieve data from a SNODE. Select a directory to recover and start the task. Then NetWorker mount the tape in SNODE and retrieves data to NW Server.
The same operation will be conducted before...

Hi:
Ia have a problem to read Label of a tape when this is unloaded from drive.
This problem appear after read data from de same tape (recovery session).
In daemon.log exist the following message:
11/20/07 12:19:54 nsrlcpd #1: MOVE MEDIA INFO
11/20/07 12:19:54 nsrlcpd #1: source ...
the condition "unsupported" not mean "don`t work"
I have CenOS running NetWorker client.
EMC don`t spend time and money for OS that not have a "good support" (word's of EMC). So, that distribution are Unsupported.
The use of SN on VMWARE is not practical, since this type of server can't access to physical device on the SAN, but you can make file type devices for this servers. The problem is that to use the devices, the VM must be running and only them can access to file device.

Hi:
I have installed a second server in SN role yesterday, then it creates a device type FILE and I have been able to do backup on it.
Now, I have a Dell Tape Library ML6010 connected to SAN. The networker Server and Storage Node can "see" the ML6010:
inquire -s
scsidev@3.4.0:IBM...
wich steps must I do to configure correctly an remote device?
If I launch jbconfig from SN, the console show a new library on Storage node plus the original library on NW server.
The SN must see only tape drive of library trough SAN or also must see the "arm" of library like NW server?
Hi:
Yes, I'm shure that SN is installed on right machine
For dicard reasons, I uninstalled SN 7.3.3 version and install 7.4.
Output command:
[root@dfmcolico root]# rpm -qa lgto*
lgtoclnt-7.4-1
lgtonode-7.4-1
[root@dfmcolico root]# ps -ef |grep nsr
