I tried the system reset - The date was correct after the reboot. However, now the light on the ACS module is red instead of green.
On further examination, it appears the phone's display only updates when the phone's in use. I don't use my phone a lot, but my coworkers do - Their phones were...
I turned off the daylight savings auto update, since I was pretty sure it had the wrong dates (4/1 instead of 3/11, etc).
I'm not sure how to check which revision of the software we're on here; F59 only says "PACS R6.0.4 C01".
I had posted an earlier thread regarding the system clock losing the correct time; this is a slightly different issue.
Our system is an ACS 6 SOE, and we currently have MLS-12D phones on x10, x11, and x12. The phone at x10 currently says that it's Tuesday, 4/3, and x11 and x12 were saying it's...
If it's an R7, then yes. #617 tells the processor which line port the paging amp is hooked to.. It's not used in R6 because the R6 processor has the dedicated jack, so it always knows where to send loudspeaker pages. =]
Feature 59 is useful from a display phone - it tells you the system release...
The fast busy almost sounds like a R7 processor without the Paging Line configured - The R7 processor uses an incoming line port for the PA amplifier. The R6 processor has a dedicated 'PAGE' jack for the PA amp.
You don't have to use a calling group for JUST overhead paging... I70 is...
Thanks for the tips. I'll try the UPS and see if that has any effect. Unfortunately the CallerID isn't an option as the head honchos that pay the phone bills don't want to include the CallerID feature on our incoming lines.
If the UPS doesn't fix it, I'll try defaulting it and reprogramming it...
I've read a few posts that mention the overall low quality of the system clock in the ACS phone system, but, I don't know if this problem is related to a poor quality RTC or something worse.. Here goes:
I reset the system time with #103. This was yesterday. Today, when I arrived, the phone was...
If you're referring to the ports in hunt group 7 for the messaging system, you may have hit the nail on the head. Extension 10 was assigned to that group. I removed it, so we'll see if the phantom ringing stops.
Thanks for the quick reply!

Ever since we had this system put in, maybe 5-6 times a day, extension 10 will ring for no apparent reason. It's an internal call ring pattern (ring-beep), and the right intercom light blinks. On a 34D phone, the system display says nothing - It continues to display the time/date. The phone...
In looking through the destruction manuals for both the Partner ACS and the Bogen amp, there's no direct yes/no answer (is there ever?).
Question is: To hook up loudspeaker paging with the ACS and Bogen amp, is it as simple as hooking the blue pair from the PAGE port to the Tip/Ring terminals...
One way of determining what display type you have, is to look at your Video control panel, in the 'Settings' tab. Right under the image of the monitor, it should list your display. (On my machine, running XP Professional, it lists Display:
ViewSonic PF790 on Radeon 9700 Pro)
Another method...
Anyone know of a 3D Stereo driver for the ATI Radeon based video cards, that allows one to use LCD Shutter glasses (page-flipping stereo)?
nVidia has a great driver for their boards, but alas, I've found nothing for ATI products except links to (now dead) Wicked3D drivers. (And you need an...
It's been a while since I've used an Optra T, but if memory serves, you access the Maintenance Menu by powering off the printer, and holding 'GO' and 'RETURN' on the printer's Front panel while you power on the unit.
In that Maintenance Menu there should be an option to reset the service...
Does the format have to be .PDF? If it's raw text and can be printed directly to an LPT port (in DOS mode), then I would use the approach of mapping the LPT port to a network printer.
(DOS command-line would be:
NET USE LPT1: \\server\printer )
Then just instruct your program to print...
