I had a similar problem and resolved it my renaming the odma32.dll to odm32.old as well as the groupwise odma files. (Do a search for *odm*). Of course, if you are actually using odma integration, this won't work.
I had a similar problem with windows 2000 and McAfee v4.5, but it was resolved by the service pack. You might also look at the Avsync Manager Service and see if letting the service log in as the administrator for the account resolves your problem.
I have a user with a group that contains over 100 names. When he sends to that group from the GW Client in the office, the message works just fine. When he sends to that group via Web Access, the message doesn't go.
System:
Web access agent: NW 5.1 SP3; GW6 SP1; behind firewall
Web access application: W2K server; GW6 SP1; in DMZ

1. Export the file to ASCII delimited.
2. Create a merge file in Wordperfect to put the fields from the ASCII file into the appropriate order. Be sure everything fits on one line (e.g. set the form size to landscape and a small font).
