Does anyone know of a good windows backup software?
Here's my scenario.
I have a server that contains a portable 40gb hard drive. There are two of these in my office which we swap out every 24 hours to allow the other one to backup.
Currently I've got a DOS batch file running through...
Hey All!
Does anyone know of a program that I can use to remap some keys on my keyboard under Windows 2000. My goal is to change the 5 key on my number pad to the = key.. This would keep me from having to move around so much under VB6... I know my friend accomplished something similar but I'm...
Me too denodave, on my old PII board it had an SiS 6326 8mb AGP built into it which I had to kill in the bios.. (and maybe a motherboard jumper.. I forget) and drop my VooDoo 3 in at the time...

If your BIOS is seeing the drives, then all you should need to do is what Scotsdude said above.. Configure the drive with FDISK, reboot and format the drives and install the operating system..

I would recommend OCZ ram.. There are a few carriers of it online. It comes with copper heat sinks preinstalled and they have it all the way up to 512mb 400mhz DDR... (which I am running in my P4 overclocked from 1.80A to 2.5ghz)..

It's just personal opinion, I just built this new system of mine using a MAXTOP case I got from newegg.com
It had 2 fans built into it and I added 3 more because of the heat generated by my P4.
My reasoning for getting a P4 instead of an Athlon XP, (even though I am an AMD fan)was because of...
True.. and the 32mb chip is probably not 133 SDRAM anyway so it would slow the system down... Also, check your motherboard manufacturer's web site or your manual... Make sure what the maximum supported RAM size is...
Let me know if I can give you a hand..

Nevermind guys... It appears I figured this one out.. I dropped my GeForce2 MX200 into it and it booted great 30 times in a row.. Looks like that MSI GF4 is just bad or something.... .anyways...

Hey guys... I've got a strange problem. I have a MSI 845-ARU Motherboard with a 1.80A Intel Pentium 4 Processor on it, 512mb PC3000 DDR 366mhz RAM.. Here's the deal..
About 1 time in 10 the system will start properly, the other times, as soon as the power on, I get 2 long bios beeps, followed...
