    Strange problem: rightclick on desktop no longer works inc on icons so no access to properties! Not connected to net on this machine so no virus etc. Anyone had thin one. XP pro, french version SP2

    in dual boot system you can delete what you like from the "other" Windoze.Howeer Windoze will simply remake the deleted files which in any case should take up v little space. Switch on hide sys files and pretend they're not ther!!! If your car makes a strange noise, turn up the radio. Roger FORD)

    Found a solution: recompiled XP CD with this German prog -http://www.vitaligraf.de/ -which allows you to add needed drivers in a OEM file. Bit like using a mallet tp change a light bulb though!

    Hi XP with SP2 but obviously no driver as the setup stalls, unable to recognise the disk. The laptop is a Fujitsu-siemens amilo.

    Hi i'm trying to install XP on a laptop HD sata with no floppy. At F6 insert floppy with sata drivers I'm stuck!Is there a way round this? Thanks.

    For France it's www.sacem.fr though you can go via prs in GB who have deals with most EU countries. Good luck.You could also use music +50 yrs ols for which there are no rights in most cases.

    No, XP pro. I've found the solution though.Have to switch off simple file sharing to reveal the security tab in all it's glory.

    Woah! back again. Solution was grand for one of my XP pro's but the other lacks a security tab, with only sharing coming up in folder propoerties.Both have sp2 installed though I'm buggered if I can remember which hotfixes I've got. Auto update is OFF. Another idea? Great forum by the way.

    Strange one here. I've 2 xp os installed, one for web other for office duties.A small number of files from web system cannot be opened from within office system and vice-versa:several entire folders are locked between the 2 os. Have tried Unlocker which finds no reason for lock-out! Affects only...
