    Protecting Diagrams from change

    A couple of thoughts... If the people you want to have read-only access should not update ANY Visio diagrams, give them the Visio Viewer instead of Visio. Another possibility is to put the diagrams in a shared folder with read-only access given to those people who need to look but not touch.

    Deleting connectors

    If you go to Edit menu, then Select Special, you can select the connector layer. After that, you can deselect the appropriate connectors by holding down the Shift key and clicking on those you want to keep.
