The most bandwidth you could hope for with SEF on a W2K box with dual processors and a ton of RAM will be about 30 – 40MB/s. you would be better off getting a Hardware based Firewall like Nokia Checkpoint.
No the local Domain ID is different to to Domain one and also on the local Domain ID we are using RAS through a commercial ISP and not our own. As I understand it NT sees each account as a different ID and creates a profile for each so even if I used SteadDu on the Domain and SteadDu local there...
