Its Ok for you guys that have got your foot in the door at an AVAYA site .With or without an ACA/E but for the rest of us its like tryin to win the lottery. You cant get any experience on AVAYA without experience on Avaya and thats the bottom line! I'm from a Mitel background and I might aswell...
I am from a Mitel background but I wanted to move into AVaya.First of all what is the best Avaya system to get into .Secondly is it worth getting an ACA certification and if so what electives are the most useful?

Thanks Marty I appreciate your info. I'm hoping to get some formal training on IP3300 if I get the job, but the sx2000 is still non IP isn't it? Any training course here is just a stupid price like $6000 for the Installation and Mtce crse or $4000 for the 3300IP .
Well it was supposed to be added on to my original thread about returning to Mitel Eng job. If you read that 1 this might make some sense.
