    I am trying to bulk insert a table that is 40 gb. I believe it would be in my best interest to adjust the size of the database to this size before inserting the data, does anybody have an opinion on this? Also, how much time will it take to grow a db from 1 gig to 40 gb. Thanks so much!

    It took the DTS wizard 6 hours to move a table with 3 million records from one db to another on one box, but only takes me approximately 10 minutes to transfer the same data inside the same database. Any thoughts as to what I should do to fix this? Thanks
