Hi, we have an x250e that we have setup some vlans on. We are trying to route between two of the vlans. This works fine as we have carried out the following on the default setup:
Added ports to the new vlans.(untagged) VLAN1 and VLAN2.
enabled ipforwarding.
set an ip address for both VLAN1 and...
I suppose the question is qhat is the difference between the port configuration on the switches?
Can you see what the port config is on the cisco and then on the Extreme. The default config looks like it must be different. It could be as simple as a duplex setting on the Extreme port.
On the...
Thanks CarGoSki.
The reason I want to test before the new IP500 is in place is that it will not be installed(by the company providing the replacement) until the week before we move in. Now, if there is a problem with the actual PRI then I'd like some buffer time to get it fixed.
The telco's...
Hi, we are waiting to move back into a flooded office.
We are getting a replacement IP500 when we are there-as far as we know, none of the main phone cabling from the MDF to the IDF to our server room was affected-however, i would like to test the PRI line before we move back and before the...
Thanks Bas1234,
I did wonder about editing the sound file itself and your post pushed me in the right direction.
However, I ended up using Audacity which is a very cool little program-I've used it to edit the MOH before.
Hi,
Is there a way to increase the volume of the AA voice prompt message?
We're running VMPRO 2.1 on a 2003 server.(This is a temp loan system). When calling through, the message is not very loud.
The server does not have an audio device attached(eg no sound card). HP ML350 G3.
Is it just that...
Hi all,
Just wanted to find out some more about having a PBE type system installed in a server room that will be refurbished.
I'm trying to get a handle on the average costs as opposed to the traditional Cat6 and switches connected direct to patch panels system.
Also, any decent links to more...
Have you tried to save the image? Maybe the site is setup to not allow downloads/printing of images(many sites with copyright do this-ie context menus are disabled etc).
Do you find that you can always ping the IP address?
What is your ISP?
Also, what are the DNS servers that they gave you?
the IP you give seems to belong to Level 3, somewhere near Washington(?)
I don't think it is another machine on your network as kmills suggests.
How is your DNS server...
If you setup dhcp and dns on the sbs then you should be able to use the dhcp server options to set router and isp dns servers etc so that all clients get this info.
How many clients have you got? Secondary DNS is probably not that necessary unless you're generating heaps of requests.
Not quite sure whether you mean user account or local service for a service(eg the log on as property in services).
If so, you could try using vbscript to query win32_service and the (I think this is it) StartName property.
If it is a user account you're trying to query, you can use psloggedon...
We have 2003SP1 DC and have added 2003R2 machine which I want to promote to a DC.
However, ran into the problem with the schema not being compatible. The schema version is listed as 30 on the 2003SP1 DC(as it should be) and not 31 which it needs to be for an R2 DC to be added.
Now I know that I...
