    XP and Sound card distortion

    I have tried a card with the aureal chip and most recently a soundblaster 128, both give marked distortion. Worked ok before conversion to xp, which was by clean install, so I know the basic hardware is ok. Tried different drivers with no improvement. Any help?

    Did you check to see if the internet connection sharing box is checked under advanced properties? Right click on your connection, go to properties and look under advanced and see if the box is checked.
