2 terminals and this is random on both. Quit boots you out of ops and must restart e7. If entering a new order that order is lost.
Network issue? Cf card? Strange on both terminals. Been running 3 years no issue.
Auto sequence set to check for open checks then print their report.
Issue has started that "open check found on bar"
There are no open checks in the system.
Any experience with this?
Can manually goes into reports and print read.

Site upgrading to Res 5.7 and after going through all the hoops from Oracle as to Serial # since they are larger udocs they now say we need 512MB Compact Flash.

I had a similar issue that a couple printers would not print reports but receipts fine. My fix was I found someone playing in workstation printer settings had changed the assigned printer under to workstation reports to blank. So report executed but went nowhere.
So upgrading a 4.7 dB to port onto a 5.7 machine.
Question if the 5.4.licence patch is applied can you now add a addional terminal? Site is upgrading to add 3rd party integrations but also has a winterize patio for the Covid winter and would like a portable terminal as they have a spare backup...
Lets try this again. These two kds started popping up with ip conflict error and takes them off line.
In the kds network setting assign any address and save you get ip conflict error.
Set kds network to auto to see what ip it would assign.
Ipcomfig listed 192.168.2.120
Manually entered that...
Pinging one way...frustrating sauga continues.
On kds no matter the ip entered we get Conflict error.
OK let it obtain an ip and see what comes up.
192.168.2.120
Set kds to that and it takes it.
From server can ping.2.120 with reply. Ok
From kds cannot ping server 192.168.100.100??
Running...

Kds can't.see server won't cal. Test line from kds jack to office switch it's fine. If I change the ip to anything else I get ip conflict.
That's what started this venture ip conficts on 3 kds units. Floor terminals ok.

in congif in workstations and office ver4.0 had the option for the new keyless code option for licensing
as seen in pic BUT it will still work with the usb license keys.
Ver4.1 had this box to aggrege to license terms. No option to even enter a code and does not work usb...
ok have a db that was programmed on a ver4.1 now if we try to use this to update a site with ws5A and ver4.0 it comes up with incompatible error on bootup.
So can the 4.1 db files be extracted from 4.1 and imported into 4.o or are we doing separate programming.

Res3700 Terminal screen Check detail.
Few years ago after you serviced the check and reopened the table the last line was a time serviced line that we could spot check how long the order had ben placed. Cant remember the name of the function or to find the settings to active. Thanks
