So...I'm at a site, just trying to recover; and XP box...with a bad DB and/or possible OS.
I have my image, on a USB drive...but I can't seem to get the PC, to boot to my Ghost Boot.
Can I make the USB drive bootable... WITHOUT having to reformat, etc.; which would cause me to lose the image??
Not really in the MICROS game anymore; but I have an old customer, who had a crash last night.
DB is in fault; didn't make a backup.
Can't remember, my command lines for restoring.
HELP! 911; customer has doors locked, until I can fix.
TIA

I have a CRASHED site. HDD went bad.
Their IT guy, has loaded a fresh copy of 7Pro for me...and I am dialed-in, trying to install RES; and restore their old DB.
PreReq gave me ASP, IIS errors; fine...seen and fixed a million times. NEVER seen, this BDE error: UNABLE TO MERGE NEW CONFIGURATION...
So...I spoke with a MICROS dealer, regarding the issue; and here's what I was told:
They recently...before the VT update was implemented...took 2 e7 sites, to the latest v4.4. It doesn't have, the license key field.
They've contacted Oracle, and evidently they are "working on it". So; my...
