I ended up doing an end-around. Not very elegant but it works.
I created a call pilot application that just transfers callers to the cell phone number.
I created an SDN using the CDN of the ACD. (Apparently the CDN gets forwarded to call pilot, not the ACD DN)...

True, we do, as I'm sure many sites do that as well. Does that negate all the Agent ID's between 0001 and 0999? Why? The system doesn't understand the difference between and agent ID and a DID?

As luck would have it, the 500 set is only receiving calls from one internal phone number so I was able to put an executive ring tone on the originating set. That solved my dilema.
It is rather odd isn't it? The engineer and I both commented about the MAC address being hard coded into the chipset.
He sent me the logs, they reflect the MAC address changes.
