    Pathfinder converts to grayscale

It's just regular black or white filled objects, no swatches. If I use the pathfinder tools on, for example red objects, 100%M, 100%Y it leaves the result in CYMK. Thanks, I will try what you suggest. Peter.

    Pathfinder converts to grayscale

Whenever I use a pathfinder function on black or white CYMK objects CS3 converts them to greyscale. I would like to keep them in the CYMK they started out in. Makes it more difficult in the printing program I export to. Does anyone know of a setting to stop this conversion? Thanks, Peter.

    Setting maximum number of UNDO's

Version 10 DID have such a setting. I can't find it in CS3. I was wondering if it had been removed or if I was just unable to locate it.

    Setting maximum number of UNDO's

Version 10 had a setting in preferences for limiting UNDO's to conserve memory. Can't find it in CS3, is it there? Thanks, Peter.

    Cheap Versions of CS4

CS4 is $599us from Adobe, I have seen it for as low as $288 by places advertizing "Authentic" versions. I don't know how they can possibly sell original copies for that low. Has anyone ever dealt with these guys? Thanks, Peter.

    Where's the "Hatch"

Thanks. I guess even if I'm upgrading I'll be keeping version 10.

    Where's the "Hatch"

I've been using version 10 for several years. Considering upgrading to CS3 or CS4. Looking at a friends CS3 and noticed that the "Pen and Ink" filter with "Hatch" is missing. Had a look around and couldn't seem to find anything equivalent. Does anybody know what happened to it? Thanks, Peter.
