You should not get any broken filesets when you issue lslpp -l |grep BROKEN otherwise you have to force install the base filesets.

Check the all broken filesets :
lslpp -l |grep BROKEN
Broken filesets cannot be cleaned up. It can only be reinstalled or removed. Broken base filesets are corrected by forcing the install of the base fileset.Broken PTFs are corrected by reinstalling the PTF in the committed state.

If you see at the /etc/hosts I have 192.9.100.1 for server01 which is samely configured to server02 and is connected to the same hub. My question is why I dont have any such problem with my other server???

Have an F50 with 1 built in network card and 4 NIC card. We use all the 4 NIC card until yesterday it stops responding. Cannot ping itself.
