I am rendering scenes from maya using BG shaders to get alpha channel info and all the tiff files that ive rendered composite with a halo around the image. The colour depends on the BG colour i choose for the camera. But all layers show this "halo", even solid objects with no...
Everytime I apply 3d fog to my composite layers the movie wont render out completely. I thought maybe i had a corrupt file but the sequence renders fine without the fog applied. Do I have to cache the data before rendering? Or is there a setting in the render que that im missing? Any Help here...

You could use the gif animator included with photoshop to run your layers in sequence and then import the gif sequence. The program is called Image Ready and can be found were your photoshop is installed on your system. If its not there reinstall and you'll be given the option to install it

If not just create a channel in photoshop that has white for visible, and black for invisible.
