I am using Fox pro with Win95. So what I do is send the print to save a text file in My Desk Top. Go to the windows desk top the icon is there and open it up with any fax or e-mail software you have in windows and send it. That way you can also make last minute notes on it before it is sent.
I have been using the series 6 modules of SBT for over ten years now and things are working pretty good. Has anyone upgraded to the pro series and transfered the old data over?
If I don't upgrade one module I didn't buy was Contact Manager, anyone got one for sale?
I have the same problem too and have found no fix except to shut down to the DOS prompt. It shuts down quickly that way and it seems to logout properly. Thne just shut off the machine. That has been our cure.
I have put pauses in my code to find out where the problem is. If I use the windows 'copy' command it works fine. If I use the 'Copy to' command in Foxpro it doesn't copy the entire file. Like 2 meg short on a 7 meg file.
Is any one using Foxpro 2.6a on a Novell 4.11 server with long name installed and had any problems? I have some strange problems and wondering if foxpro can properly read Novell's FAT table, that is now capable of long names, and coming up with the wrong file sizes?
I have moved the files to my work station and just worked off that and it works OK.
I'm running Foxpro so the files are .DBF files and they are on the average 7 to 25 meg long so they are large files.
The crazy thing is that if I run the utility program one line at a time it works fine, but just...
I'm running netware 4.11 with SP9 installed and my work station is a win95 using client 3.31. The system has been working fine for over a year without any problems. Then all of a sudden it started corrupting data. So I updated the client which was 2.2 to 3.31 but no help. It only does this...
Thanks for your responce. Maybe I didn't totally explain the whole problem correctly. I wrote these programs over a year ago and they have been working OK. Then all of a sudden they started messing up. I think I better understand the eof() and bof() command better but I'm still get errors in the...
I have upgraded my novell client from 2.2 to 3.3. It all works OK except that win9x asks for name and password too. Before it used the novell login. If I login as admin it works as before but any other user has to type their name and password twice. What have I missed?
Most all the users are running under win95 now? It would be nice to pick up some of the utilities in windows while running fox. What about speed since I'm already running win95 will foxpro for windows run any faster? How about source code changes?
When I open a dbf file and type '? bof()' it reports .f. Type 'go top' and it still reports .f. Type 'skip-1' and it doesn't give me an error and stays on record 1 but now 'BOF() reports .t. It didn't use to do this for my programs have been working for over two years and now all of a sudden...
