I'm using Crystal Reports 7.0 to pull data from an Access database. The fields involved are:
Lead Number
Start Date
Dollar Total
Years Duration
The user would like a report that allocates the total amount evenly accross the months included as determined by considering the start date and the...
Ken, Thanks for the quick reply - I gave you a star. I changed the date ranges to include the previous quarters, but it still doesn't report cumulative amounts. I believe the Q1Count formula only assigns a label to the chart, but I could be wrong.
My chart is built on the following...
I think I must be missing something simple here, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to build a line graph that shows the cumulative dollar total by quarter. I would also like a second line graph in the same chart showing the cumulative pipeline remaining by quarter.
I'm using Crystal 7.0...
Thanks for the reply, but I don't believe this will work for my situation, because for some of the categories I'm tracking, if I run a report in February, then re-run the same report later in the year trying to recreate the February information, it will have changed. Won, Lost and No-Bids will...
Ido,
Could you include an example or elaborate further about using a subreport to return the cumulative figures for each month via a shared variable?
My report is grouped by category; Won, Lost, No-Bid, etc, and I run it each month. This way I have a snap-shot picture of the numbers at...
I'm using Crystal Reports 7 to write reports against an Access Database. One of the monthly reports gives me the number of Cumulative wins for the year, the number of Cumulative Loses for the year, and so on for the various categories we track.
I use the 3 formula running total method...
I tried adding a subreport for the manager with no activity for the period. No wins, no losses, no activity. Is there any way based on that condition, to display a message stating there was no activity?
Thanks
I'm using Crystal Reports 7 with a MDB database. I have a report that is grouped on Marketing Managers, and the report lists the wins for each manager. If a Manager had no wins for the period, his/her name is not displayed. I want to be able to add a stagement which will automatically display...
Ken, you won't believe it but it finally works! I made a formula that entered the negative amount if the bonus was a negative, otherwise it entered a 0. Then I ended up relocating the running total formulas.
The Evaluate formula ended up looking like this:
//Enters the...
Let me try again, and please disregard the last confusing message from me.
I entered the formulas where you said to, and used an evaluate formula similar to:
@EvaluateAddNegative
WhilePrintingRecords;
NumberVar RunningTotalNegative;
RunningTotalNegative := RunningTotalNegative +
(if...
By placing the formulas where you said, it's starting to look vaguely like it's trying to work, but it's not there yet. The sample I gave you for Evaluate above was incorrect. The "D's" should have been "C's", so it would look like this:
@EvaluateAddNegative...
Ken,
Here are examples of the formulas I tried to use, but it still doesn't work. Display is in the manager group header; evaluate is in the details; and initialize is in the manager group footer. I'm a beginner, and I still don't see how I can tell the report to look at a previous quarter's...
