This happened at a site and i looked up how to delete the virtual directory's in IIS and reinstall something sounds like it went wacky with the OWA setup. In all cases this just recreates the virtual directory's in IIS flawlessly and working about 95% of the time.

Are you using forms based Authentication? If not you need to enable that.

Make sure that you have the right case on the /vol/? I had the same problem until i made sure that if the volume says /vol/Home_Drives that the netbackup says the same thing. Also if your using a netapp filer. then you will have to check on your snapshot sizing as well it could be that it is...

Also make sure that if you have snapshots turned on, that the netapp has enough space for the back up. you can also view whats the commands are doing in verbose mode on the netapp if you log into it via puddy. let me know if you need a doc that covers this.
