Does anyone know how to use Solaris 11 to format a SAS hard drive on a Sun T3-1? It has a 520 byte blocksize, I need to make it 512 byte block size. The OS won't mount the drive correctly.
Thanks

Hello,
I have a Sun T2000 running Solaris 11.1 and I'm connected to an EMC cx300 SAN array. I was wondering how do I remove old LUNS that I've unassigned to the storage group for my server. After running devfsadm -Cv, I see the devices being removed from /dev/dsk and /dev/rdsk, and then...

I'm looking to get a Sun T2000 for home use and would like to get LDOM version 1.2 software, but I need to know how I can get it from Oracle or even what the process is to download it.

int13 - GET DRIVE PARAMETERS (Extended) (1572)
I remember there being a group of text files that correspond to the netbackup master configuration dealing with policies or schedules. I can't remember where these files are or what they were called. Any ideas????
Not a big thing, just wrote a script, long ago, to get a listing of schedules...
Actually I'd like to know is the NaviAgent the only way for the OS to see the LUNs. I'm used to Hitachi SAN, and once the LUNs are assigned and then scanned on Solaris, format command will show the LUNs. Wondering is it the same with EMC.
