I thought I heard a while back it might have been a feature request, ill stay away from the custom API's since its for a large customer production environment :P Thanks for the info!
I am trying to set up active directory sync between AD, SMGR and IX messaging (Avaya Messaging) Everything works, except we still have to go into ix message to change the user to use the IMAP as the storage option from the default "database", I cannot figure out how to change this default option...
Does anyone have an example IX attendant auto config or a document with one, I cannot find any example at all. It is not the same as the IX workplace or 46xxsettings config file.
Looking to renew some certs on a old 3.1 CM, I have little experience with these older systems and the yare very different than the current versions of CM, I cannot find any way to upload a new root cert and server cert, although I do see the server.crt in the /etc/opt/ecs/certs/server...
Found an error in the monitor log, it was complaining that the SD card did not have a valid fingerprint or was no an official Avaya SD Card, so I reformatted it and installed IPO 11.1. It is not complaining of the SD card anymore and the phones have not rebooted yet.
I am using IPO 11.0 GA.with J159, J179 series phones
According to the compatibility matrix, J100 phones are supported from versions 1.0 - 4.0.5 firmware, I am using 4.0.4 firmware which was supplied with IPO on the initial install. The J100 phones connect to the IPO and download the firmware and...
They are SIP phones, so cannot be plugged into IPO, need POE.
And it is on the same switch, a local no management 1gb switch. I have no problems with my aura stuff on the same switch. I have not had much time to dig any deeper into this issue, hoping to get more time soon..
IPO noob here.
I have a new IPO setup and the phones keep rebooting every 10-15 minutes. I enabled syslog on the phones and I am not sure what is causing the problem since there is so much info in the debug log. I suspect a databsae error with the users but not sure. For simplicity I deleted...
Nevermind I got it.
Had to erase the config then connect using static IP 192.168.42.1, then I could run the initial config. Think I am all good now.. Until the next problem.
So I received a new IPO 500v2.. well used on ebay for $50..
It had a working 8.1 license, I could login and see it all configured.
I took a blank SDcard formatted it using the IPO manager, and then recreated it. It boots up and I can see the webpage and that it is 11.0.4.8
I cannot load the "IP...
In Aura I can type "list usage extension xxxx" and find out where the extension is used in every place, like hunt groups, paging groups etc...
Is there a way to do that in IPO ?
Anyone sending alarms from on prem customer SAL/ADS servers to their own Alarming service, such as your own BP SAL (BPAR) or any other method of getting alarms from the customer on prem SAL to you, I am just looking to see what other options are out there.
So turns out you can send to a BP installed SAL (BPAR) from Customer installed SALs, this is all done via Avayas backend using their SAL concentrator, you need to add the MACs of each Customer sal to your profile, however in order to do this you need to be a co-delivery partner at the very least...
This is really the reason I want to alarm directly from the customer ADS/SAL to our own BP ADS/SAL, to cut out Avaya from constantly creating tickets for minor alarms that should not have a ticket created, most of the time it is CPU utilization is too high, or disk space too low or other factors...
I am not even sure if this is possible, as I am having a hard time finding docs on this.
However is Anyone using the ADS/SAL server for an Alarm Receiver? Do you have multiple customers alarming directly to your ADS/SAL server? Pros/Cons?
I am trying to find more info on this to see if I can...
I thought that was fairly clear.. I am looking for documentation for integrating Avaya Aura with Microsoft Teams Direct Routing or any training classes that one has heard of that might relate to this?
Assuming This is a integration between Teams and Avaya, one would think you need a Teams...
Thanks for the links, I have seen those. They are good for the Avaya side, but the Teams side config is lacking a bit I found. I am going to go through the config of this soon and see where I end up.
Anyone have any good docs on Integrating Avaya Aura with Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, I have not really found anything meaninful yet. Or even a training class I can take?
Thanks in advance.
I just ran into a similiar issue with a customer, I had to search all the LSPs for a remaining patch, finally found the patches on one of the LSPs that someone forgot to cleanup, previous vendor would remove all patches after using them.. If the patch is not on your main CM /var/home/ftp/pub...
