Well that is one possibility. However I was more interested in what business requirement there woudl be for having any application (Access or not) formatting a partition. If any app did that to a system of mine, I'd be somewhat less than pleased!

IP Routing?
Non-standard SIP ports?

We had intermittent issues with this and it came down to a trunk group setting that allow/denies the hod message from being sent to the carrier (IIRC it set to allow by default). Some carriers will ignore the request but others may obey it. In effect, the caller gets held...
I know it's a cliche, but have you tried rebooting a SM from the SMGR console?
Personally, I'd use a NTP source rather than rely on VMware to provide time services, but it's a bit late for that advice
Communications Manager will not do this out of teh box. You'll need either a dedicated product (and I don't know of one) or an IVR system such as Avaya Aura Experience Portal (AAEP does include a SMS module) and SMS carrier connection etc.
Sounds like $$$/£££ to me

To be clear, the PBX keeps track of what extension with that ELIN dialed an emergency number last and will route the inbound call from the PSAP to that extension.

Be warned - what seems like a public IP address and 'god' level database credentials displayed in an open forum is a very risky thing to do

Have you been through the usual troubleshooting?
swap "bad" handset with known good one?
Does fault follow handset? if yes, either faulty hardware (4602 hasn't been available for 15 years or so. it may just be dead) or config. if no, then maybe network (cable, switch port etc)

One way to do this is to use tenanting. Each site/Nr/Location has a unique tenant id. Tenants can have a different attendant destinatiom.

If you have a 3rd Party cert on your SMGR and you don't have the root installed on the SM/BSM then you are going to have issues. If you need to change the hostname then run SMnetSetup scrip too

Watch out for ARP issues! You'll now if you have them as there will be speech path issues. You'll usually experience then if the phone changes IP address. Its not usually an issue but in certain break-fix scenarios, who knows!

Does the call disconnect or does the speech path to re-establish?
If it is the latter, I've seen this caused by the CM sending a hold notification that the carrier. Try turning off the "send hold notofcation@' off on page 3 or 4 of the trunk form. In most cases hold should be a PABX function...

Depends on how old it is as to how bad! It may be so old to be unaffected!
