I double-checked the users for the database, and I did find an entry referring to the old server. I removed it per your suggestion, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. Therefore I think the user/ASP issues may be somewhere else - I just have to figure out where that somewhere else...
Hi Dave,
Thanks for replying to my post. I checked all the permissions as you suggested. First, I found there was no access listed for the server's IUSR account, which I have corrected. Otherwise, all folder permissions for the Access DB match between the servers.
I also had to add a login...
Hi,
First, let me extend my thanks in advance to anyone who can provide insight into this matter.
I've run up against a problem I can't solve after lengthy research. I have a legacy ASP site (used for filing warranty claims) on a Server 2003 machine that I'm moving to a Server 2008 R2 machine...
I solved my own problem. I went ahead and uninstalled Exchange from the backup server and shut it down (but did not remove it from the domain). Since then the 1007 warnings have disappeared.
Hello everyone,
I have Exchange 2010 SP3 set up on a Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit server. Checking backup status through the event logs(backup is being done through Windows Server Backup) has yielded a 9782 Exchange VSS Writer error for each of four mailbox databses and a public folder...
Hello everyone,
I am performing a migration from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010, using Microsoft's Exchange Deployment Checklist as my primary guide. The setup I'm working with is as follows:
- Exchange 2003 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 32-bit box.
- Exchange 2010 SP2 on Windows Server...
rickism21,
The program that I used originally was Microsoft's Active Directory client. There is a version for Windows NT and one for Windows 95/98. I went to verify the Microsoft link but it's gone now (I originally downloaded the program almost 3 years ago and the only valid link on MS is to...
Thanks again, hardies, for your help. My apologies for not responding sooner, but my supervisor and I were checking each credential between job runs for this machine to minimize downtime. It turns out that the Domain Admins membership was what was needed with the new account. The machine has...
Hello everyone,
I have an old Windows 95 computer (the last of the line) connected to our company domain. Due to a recent network hiccup, the computer can't connect to the network because the user couldn't remember the password and the account was locked. The password has been reset, but not...
Hello everyone,
I have a CNC laser cutting machine running off a Windows 95-based controller. This controller connects to our company's domain which is controlled by Windows 2008 Standard domain controllers (32-bit). Three days ago, there was a brief network outage on the machine, which was...
Thanks again beefstew for the responses. With those commands and the Ntdsutil run again, I was able to get the roles moved over to one of the active domain controllers. I was then able to remove the AD metadata for the offline controllers through AD Sites and Services and AD Users and Computers.
Hi everyone,
I have a setup of 9 windows servers (four with Server 2003, four with Server 2008, and one with Server 2008 R2 x64). I am getting ready to bring online a second Server 2008 R2 server for Exchange in order to migrate from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 (replacing two Server 2003...
Hello again,
I found a roundabout solution to the problem. Found a hidden development version of the database elsewhere on our company network under a different name, and with very old data. I then created a new database in the Access 2002-2003 format (same as the problem database). I...

Here's the select criteria for the button:

The button appears to be doing what it should when clicked according to that code...
