Diogenes, thanks for that link, I tried it and it found the host file that is causing the problem, but when I rebooted and it tried to unlock the file, it couldn't, it tried like 3 times, finally said it had to restore the original file and I am now back to where I began.

well what I thought had worked simply delayed the process. The file showing up in the value section of reglite is called winelbj.dll. I clear it after I change the directory to notwindows and then change the directory back. But when I go to DOS to find the file, its not there to delete. So...
