This gets even more wierd! I have rebuilt, from scratch, exact copies of the query and report, creating the fields in the order I want them in the report and the exported xls file. No, the output is not alphabetic, it is not related to the order of the fields in the report, query or table. I have even tried recreating the report to make sure it was not exporting them in the order the fields were created. I have also checked that the conditions in the query don't effect it...- Scott95823
