Thanks for that. so i pull the plug, then presumably plug it back in - press ** and spell out the word startup on the phone. This works, thus far, but it says password on the screen and the only button that does anything is the 'Rls' key. i.e. I can't enter a password as far as i can tell...

I suspect you are right, but just for good measure - can anybody tell me how to factory reset the unit just as a first step. All i want to do is get the telephones to try to access line one when you press the line 1 button rather than attempting to 'line pool 1'. Thanks
