hey hey hey...not looking for any arguments... Just answers to questions...that's all. I really wanted to make a wave effect in flash, thought it would be easier now then back in flash4 days...guess not. Flash doesn't seem at all worthwhile to me. so what makes flash so great then? If you can't make those cool effects in flash without using other software, why bother with it. If you need to program in flash, why not just use Javascript, with DHTML.... I don't see why developers use flash? confused...- DrakeS

hi...i'm new to flashMX. The last time i used flash was way back when flash4 came out...and only for the duration of the 30day trial. Anyway, does flashMX have any actual effects? Like alpha blending, or zooming and bluring? Anything at all... From what I've been able to gather off the net...- DrakeS
