    E6804... Drive Hardware Error

    ArcserveIT 6.61 for NT. Apart from replacing the drive as last resort with this error is there anything else I can try? I get the error when the server is rebooted in the ArcServe eventlog.

    I understand about excluding files using filters. I have been typing out the full path of the file or folder to exclude. Can you explain how I would do this using directory pattern? many thanks Mark

    Some of the files causing this problem are: "D:\exchsrvr\mtadata\db000001.dat" these keep incresing in binary, so far up to "...\db000048.dat" Also, "D:\exchsrvr\mtadata\DBREFS" Are these files critical and to be backed up? The only other folder/file in the mtadata...

    I used to be getting successful backups all the time, but now the result is always incomplete. Unable to read file. E3406 EC=Lock Violation E3404 EC=Sharing Violation any ideas? thanks in advance Mark
