Thanks for the answer. However, these icons and menu items do not show up even if one selects the option which gives you the most icons. And anyway, I think these options only deal with the icons on the bottom panel.
In the meantime I have found out how to add icons for floppy and cd-rom...
After installing RedHat 7.3 I see that the icons for floppy and cd-rom drive are missing. One other strange thing which might me related is that there are a lot of menu entries which are invisible. They show up in kmenueditor (and are not marked hidden), but not in the menu. If I modify one item...
I was looking for the answer to this question myself, and have found it in faq181-330.
In short, what you need is to add the code:
& Chr$(13) & Chr$(10) &
Where you want the forced newline.
