That is what I thought, but alas its not the case, CA advised me that it is no longer supported as Apple have strange characters in directory names.
So have now gone back to Backup Exec on this server with apple shares
According to CA, in Japan & US, AS2000 does not support apple, it will backup but does not restore.
I only tried using a V6 agent as a last resort, it does get there but even on LTO, 2 MB/s , slow as

Thanks for the reply, but I do not backup using any agents, except exchange, & SQL, and that is from different servers.
I used to use BAOF but now do not use it
After doing a full backup of a server with appleshares using arcserve 2000 advanced edition, to an LTO tape drive, I found that I could not restore the files.
Checked support site and nothing. Rang Support in Japan and the answer was the dreaded sorry cannot restore the files, as apple is not...
