Arcserve Log Maintenance?
Can you open it in notepad? I'm pretty sure it's just a text file of the Activity Log tab entries. I guess Arcserve will create a new one if it doesn't find it (i'm not 100%). Or you can open it and delete up to a certain point. Maybe leave year 2002 in, or whatever you like. That should...- ArcBert

Tape naming
Hi John - i'm not an Arcserve expert, but i think if you edit the job, on the destination tab, have an asterisk for "media". i've never used tape rotation before, we have a very simple setup, 15 tapes....so there's no need for tape rotation. Maybe i shed some light on this for you...- ArcBert

We have the backup server in Domain1 (NT domain, win2k server), MSX 5.5 server in Domain2 (NT domain, NT server), 2 way trust, Arcserve 2000, sp3. I did NOT use the domain1 arcserve system account to install Arc 2k MSX bkup...- ArcBert
