In the Server Location settings on the Client there is a Firewalls button and in there is an option to Use Alternate Address For Firewall Connection. This must be selected if the ALTADDR setting on the Server is enabled.

This may be associated with the fact that when the Citrix Client is updated it automatically backs up the existing Client files to a backup directory in the Citrix folder in the Program Files directory.

Place the Citrix Server into its own Organisational Unit and create a Group Policy for that OU. If the Group Policy has the Loopbaack Processing Mode enabled then it will be applied to anyone who logs onto a server in that OU.
