We just installed a new Exchange 2003 server. We created a distribution list which only passes email to users on our domain, all others bounce back to sender. Users can send individually to each external email address. I am in a real bind. Thanks for any response. Andyinva
Got it working. I tried both HDLC & PPP could ping all interfaces. It maybe I don't understand the back-to-back fraem-relay doc from cisco in early posting or it gust does't work.
I was reading a little and noticed that for ping to work on a serial line. It has to bounce of the other end of the connection. I tryed trace and It comes up with 30 set of astics. I now have the serial interfaces at 192.168.100.1/24 and 192.168.100.2/24
Tracing the route to 192.168.100.1...
I tried interface serial1 both sides up and up but no luck. I guess I should be able to ping the ip on the serial interface as well as the ethernet. The routers look good. Two 2501's
I ma seting up a two router lab. I used a setup for back-to-back Frame Relay which I got off the Cisco website. Both interfaces are up and up yet I can not ping eather side. Any one got a clue? I am just starting out on my CCNA. Thanks Andy
