Need help with new motherboard.
As far as beeps go, i get none. Unless i self-induce them ie.removing cmos battery before boot. But like earlier, this does not beep at me. the computer just does nothing. Thanks, ok, got a update... this morning, I restarted it and the postscreen came up. Then it froze. Restarted again, then nothing again. Restarted again, then the post screens come up, and before I can hit the F2 key, it begins to boot Windows, of course windows didn't like the new setup, and...- kc2jga

Need help with new motherboard.
Just purchased a Biostar M7VIW motherboard with a AMD Athlon 1600+ processor. This should have been a simple project for me. Took everything out of old computer ie.512SDRAM PC133 memory, 6 GIG IDE HDD, cd burner, and video card. Everything went into the new tower with 425watt power supply. Well...- kc2jga
