Thanks for the reply... you are right, I was opening it via shortcut. I took your advice and tried it from Access, but it still gives me the same message and doesn't set the password. For some reason, when I choose 'Exclusive' it really isn't. Any thoughts?

How do I convert reports (*.frx) backwards from Foxpro 6.0 to Foxpro 3.0 because a full database in 3.0 will not recognize the 6.0 frx report format and therefore gives an error when trying to print.
