    I'm talking about the lookups from outside. For example, I have used DNS Stuff and idwhois.info and both show a TTL of 300, even though I've set the TTL for the record to be 12 hours (43200).

    We run our own DNS for our domain, and our ISP has delegated our IP block to our name server. However, I can't seem to get the TTL value for our mail server's PTR record to update. We need it to be set to a minimum of 43200, and it is showing the default 300. Using the DNS management console...
