    SQL Command Parameters

That is true - just the order the parameters are prompted for. Looks like it defaults back to alphabetical even if you adjust the order in the report and save it. No choice here but to rename my parameters. Thanks for the tips

    Bar Chart Average Line

Thanks for the hint - but the only trendlien options I have are Linear, Polynomial, Exponential, Logarithmic and Moving Average. When inserting a user line is it true that you can only specify a single constant value - you are not able to insert a formula that would dynamically pick up on group...

    SQL Command Parameters

I am using an SQL command to retrieve data for a report in CR 9. It has two parameters, Start Date and End Date. My report continually prompts for End Date first and start date second, even if I right click on start date parameter and select to move it up in the report. This order is not saved...

    Arranging Charts in Reports

I have a CR 9 report with one grouping level and a chart in the group footer (only a chart - no data). Is it possible to have charts arranged for different groups so they appear on the same line, ie a report that would have four instances of my group footer currently has four charts appearing...

    Bar Chart Average Line

I have a CR 9 bar chart that charts on change of crew code, equipment code and charts average hours values. So for each of four crews identified on the x axis there are single lines for each piece of equipment's average hour value. I need an average line for each piece of equipment in the chart...

    Cross tab Issue

Thanks for the suggestion but I cannot hardcode the material codes into the report - it needs to be dynamic. Can you see a reason why what I am doing is not functioning as I would like it?

    Is it possible to...

Sorry - I have not written an SQL Statement in Crystal before. If I was writing the same report in Microsoft Access I would create one query and in a second query I would link it one of my database tables with a left outer join (showing all records from the database table, not the nested query)...

    Is it possible to...

Force records in the main report to appear in the subreport or vice versa? ie can I somehow use a left outer join between the two?.. or does anyone have a suggestion of ways to work around this please?

    Group Header Issues

Yeah - I have used this method in other reports but because of having no definite criteria for supressing the page header on the last page I opted for the group header. Thanks for your help!!

    Group Header Issues

Sorry I thought the lines issue was sort of irrelevant now - they are my dividing lines seperating the columns in my report. They currently run from gh1 to gf1a and are fine (appearing correctly) as I have my column labels in gh1. When I had my labels in the page header they ran from the page...

    CR Dynamic Parameters

Hello.. I understand the issue of dynamically populating CR parameter pick lists has been raised time and time again - I am looking for independant opinions on the third party tools available to do this for you. Does anybody have something to say about this, or would be able to point me in the...

    Group Header Issues

Thanks LB - very much appreciated, I'll see how I go this morning with your suggestion! Ido - thanks. Adding a higher grouping level such as this was my last resort, because I will be working with CR fulltime from here on in I thought I'd search out the proper way to resolve this rather than...

    Group Header Issues

Thankyou..but the problem is sometimes the charts appear by themselves on the last page and sometimes they are preceeded by the data that requires the labels to be displayed - this solution doesn't cater for this does it?

    Group Header Issues
